Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Set to Distribute Property Owner Smart Cards in February.
The Additional Director General of FDA, Abid Husain Bhatti, announced the distribution of smart cards to property owners in February during a recent progress review meeting. The meeting focused on the digitization of property records in FDA-controlled housing colonies and commercial markets.
Bhatti highlighted the durability and security features of the smart cards, which will serve as a comprehensive repository of property-related information. He stressed the importance of expediting the digitization process to achieve 100% completion without delay and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
The ADG emphasized the need for the smart cards to be credible, comprehensive, and authentic to gain the trust and confidence of property owners. A six-member committee was formed to oversee the digitization process and submit a one-year performance report of the contracted firm, HTTI, within the next two weeks.
