The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has recently received a deposit of Rs. 24.24 billion (equivalent to USD 105.80 million) from Pakistan Mobile Communications Limited (Jazz) for license renewal fees. This deposit, which will be placed in the Federal Consolidated Fund (FCF), brings the total deposit made by the PTA in the FCF during the current financial year to Rs. 56.57 billion (equivalent to USD 253.78 million).
